ALD15 DC/DC Converters

Artesyn Embedded Technologies introduces a new ALD15 sixteenth-brick DC/DC Converter Series that is extremely cost-effective when used in applications requiring up to 35W of output power and capable of achieving up to 92% efficiency at full load. Artesyn Embedded Technologies ALD15 sixteenth-brick DC/DC Converters are low-profile with an installed height of just 0.35 inches, making them ideal for systems requiring tight inner-board spacing or where sufficient separation between the converter and adjacent boards is needed. ALD15 Converters are available in five power ratings (13A at 1.8V, 11A at 2.5V, 10A at 3.3V, 7A at 5V and 2.75A at 12V). The sixteenth-brick ALD15 Converters are 43% smaller than converters using the conventional eighth-brick form factor, are available in through-hole or surface mount configurations, and are fully RoHS compliant.
