Amphenol Socapex RJ Field Bus Interconnect System allows users to quickly and reliably transform standard telecommunications and data communication mediums into rugged, military, and industrial connectors for harsh environments. This rugged Ethernet series offers a wide range of options for flexibility, including reverse bayonet, push/pull, bayonet, threaded, and lever coupling configurations in both plastic and metal materials. The enables designers to choose the best solution for their application.

RJF 544 Rugged Ethernet Connectors

Amphenol Socapex RJF 544 Ethernet Connectors transform an RJ45 cordset into a push-pull IP67 connector and allow the use of an Ethernet Class D/Cat 5e connection for 10 BaseT, 100 BaseTX, or 1000 BaseT networks in harsh environments. The connectors are sealed against fluids and dust (IP67). They have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and offer improved EMI protection. The connectors resist shock, vibration, and traction. The RJF 544 plug is connected to a receptacle via a quick, user-friendly push/pull coupling mechanism. The RJ45 cordset shielding is transmitted to the RJ45 receptacle through lateral grounding fingers. With the patented RJStop® system, a designer can use a standard RJ45 cordset with a composite plug, protecting the cordset from shocks, dust, and fluids. No hazardous in-field cabling, grounding, or tools are required.
