to introduce product enhancements to the Bourns Model 3549
10-Turn Precision Potentiometer Series, 3548 5-Turn Precision
Potentiometer Series and 3547 3-Turn Precision Potentiometer
Series with a servo lid.
The current process for attaching the servo lid involves a
mechanical rivet on the lid that attaches to the potentiometer
housing. The new process will entail screwing the servo lid onto
the potentiometer bushing. The servo lid will also be glued to
the front mounting surface of the potentiometer. This
modification is designed to increase reliability.
The appearance of the Model 3549, 3548 and 3547 will be
different but the fit and function will not be impacted.
Qualification test data is available upon request. Evaluation
samples are available.
Implementation dates are as follows:
First date code using above changes: 1306M
Delivery of such products will begin: February 12, 2013
