Ohmite Current Sense Resistors

Ohmite Current Sense Resistors are available in many popular sizes and packages. These resistors are used to monitor current in a circuit via a voltage drop and control circuit.  Current sense resistors are characterized by low values to minimize power consumption.  Ohmite produces current sense resistors with TCR values as low as 40 ppm, ohms as low as 0.0005, tolerances down to 0.5%, and a wide range of mounting options from SMD to SOT-227 heatsinkable. Power dissipation ranges from 0.125 to 100 watts in the SOT package.

14A Axial Current Sense Resistors

Ohmite 14A Series Alumina Body Current Sense Resistors feature a high-temperature ceramic body which allows higher power densities than similar products that utilize silicone-based epoxy molding compounds. Ideal for current sensing applications, the 14A Series Resistors from Ohmite have an internal construction that involves a straight, low inductance, 3-piece welded metal element at standard 1% tolerance. Ohmite 14A Series Alumina Body Current Sense Resistors offer a 4W power rating and a temperature range from -55ºC to +275ºC.
