Banner Engineering Q45x 3-Axis Vibration Monitoring Sensors

Banner Engineering Q45x 3-Axis Vibration Monitoring Sensors are battery-powered and designed to make predictive maintenance more practical and scalable. These sensors offer high-resolution vibration data without cabling or continuous power, detecting issues like misalignment before they lead to failure. Features include multi-year battery life, rugged IP67 housing, and seamless integration into MultiHop wireless networks from Banner Engineering, helping to facilitate the expansion of condition monitoring to every critical machine. Available in two configurations, the Q45VA3C is an all-in-one package that combines the sensor, radio, and C-cell battery, while the Q45VT3 is powered by a D-cell battery and connects via M12 cordset to a separate QM30VT3 sensor.

These sensors use low-power operation, enabling them to run for over two years on a single battery, and users can adjust reporting intervals to stretch the lifetime even longer. In addition to recording vibration, analysis features turn the readings into useful information. The High-Frequency Enveloping (HFE) filters out low-frequency signals and isolates high-frequency content, making it easier to catch early signs of bearing wear or lubrication breakdown, issues that are hard to identify in noisy environments.
